You Union Folks don't get it. Stankey is a total lunatic and doesn't care about anyone but him self. He dosen't care about all the Management employee's doing your work during strike duty and he cares even less about you! He wants to get rid of union employee's at any cost! They didn't want the Southeast wireline part of the business and only bought it in the merger for the wireless side. Stankey would dump it in a moment if you could. Good Luck to everyone!

Could not care less if they don't have pay or benefits. They made the choice, and I won't miss a wink of sleep over it.

"Some have hot wives that like to party when Daddy's not around"

This is the 4th such post I've seen. Poster appears to have been on the receiving end of infidelity in his relationships, or maybe he just has too many memories of seeing his mother with her head jammed into the corner of the couch when his father was away.

I'll be when this weekend is over and these managers have to go back to work. Some have hot wives that like to party when Daddy's not around. I can't really blame Daddy for being frustrated.

Compare free cash flow from 1995 to 2024 and tell me how it’s unsustainable?

"Been praised for handling the load quite well as a whole for the headcount deployed."

If you are doing so well I wonder why ATT has now brought on paid contractors to do the job?! ATT is paying contractors $200/HR to do the repair work that CP managers cannot do. Prior to the contractors being utilized less than 1% of the repair work and none of the new install work was being completed. You nuthin' but a troll!

"More than 2/3 of ULP charges are false allegations."

Good to know. I finally located the NLRB reference online. Without knowing details of the settlements and the specific details in the current ULP charge, that 69% could extend to 96%. I can understand why the company stated they were disappointed the CWA would use such a tactic. Actions have consequences, and false allegations should have consequences. I noticed the NLRB does not punish for false allegations, but it provides opportunity for the company to do so by further reducing their offer in the bargaining process. Makes sense now the company would play hardball. The CWA leadership set themselves and their membership up for a spanking this time.

“According to the NLRB only 3.73% of all ULP charges brought in 2023 resulted in a complaint being issued. 27% resulted in a settlement.”

Don’t worry, the documented charges filed more than meet, we will be back soon and your 12/6 workdays will end. Managers can go back to morning coffee badging, Costco runs, leaving early and all the other non company related COBC violations.

Several CP managers at different sites have told us, they are keeping a log of where they have worked. It’s so techs can go back and correct their poor work quality and make permanent repairs on a many temporary fixes.

Enjoy the long weekend, unless you have a CP assignment. Should be over in a week or two.

Like mentioned on another thread, union derps really aren’t that bright. You’re being had by your leadership and every day that goes by after tomorrow, the leverage will continue to swing in the companies favor. This is hurting you a lot more than T and you’re going to find that out the hard way.

According to the NLRB only 3.73% of all ULP charges brought in 2023 resulted in a complaint being issued. 27% resulted in a settlement. Those statistics indicate 69% were determined to be without merit. More than 2/3 of ULP charges are false allegations.

Try again to convince me the CWA is bargaining from a position of power.

New CWA contract will include retroactive raises and back dated to the day of the walkout and they will be paid for every single day they would have worked. All 17,000 of them. Sales reps will be paid out at better of 100% of commission or average attainment for last 3 month. CP managers will get nothing and be in the hot seat for future layoffs.

"As a manager working the strike in a C.O., stay on strike.
The food, candy bars, drinks are plenty, good & free.
The overtime strike pay will buy my new bayliner and my chair is comfortable.
What's not to like?"

try not to sc--w anything up. its hard enough going behind other people to fix a mess who think they can do CO work.

"will end up paying the Union for all the backpay"

It is difficult to believe these 'tards still don't get it. The company has shown zero interest in buying what the CWA is trying to sell.

Makes sense the union would be worried about the total $$ for strike pay. Definitely not an economic time to be withrawing investments. Would not want to be on the CWA bargaining team when those questions are asked. Some poor hick is going to be held accountable for something he is probably incapable of understanding.

"company is saving millions"

You might want to check your calculations because ATT is paying contractors $200 an hour now to do the work the CP manager could not do. As well, ATT will miss its revenue and new fiber install targets for Q3, and will end up paying the Union for all the backpay, and OT to get caught back up. Of course, the new installs may just go to T Mobil or VZ since ATT is nothing but a commodity broker now.

Yeah, the anti union comments are accumulating since they found out it may be weeks or months before they can slink back to the shadows. Tailgating season starts tomorrow. Good food, good drink and good times.

Personally, I think strike pay ought to be pretty darn close to what we make an hour. There should be the ability to individualize it, or even make tiers based on position and tenure. Anything less than $25/hour with a guarantee minimum of 32 hours per week, going back to the first day of the strike would be great. It's far less than we actually make but would certainly be a grand gesture.

Well, the company trolls are getting restless. See, that's what happens when the weak feel the pressure. They are lazy and worthless that why they feel threatened. They are truly afraid someone will ask about their productivity while impersonating a real technician. Laughing all the way home from spending quality time with his old lady.

Well, CWA isn't getting any money at all now, but next week they start getting something like $7.50 per hour. Sweet! Big money! Parrtttyyyyy!! Wonder what the Union thinks about getting up off of $5M per week. That's a lot of shakedown money. Suspect their bargaining team is about to be given guidance to wrap it up.
