Everyone that gets laid off is a top performer. I guess I will stay mediocre.

Got my notice. Boss said that I'm a middle of the road, not much to show, under achieving average Joe. I guess they're done sugar coating now.

Let them know that you want them to look into the possibility of discrimination using obfuscation and misdirection based on what has transpired.

You would have to give up your severance if you want to do anything like that. When exiting, you are required to sign a waver from all liability and claims against the company. If you don't, you're free to try anything you want, but there will be no severance. If you do, you can still try anything you want, but it will be instantly dismissed the moment T shows your signature on that form. It's funny, people think severance exists because business are just so nice to their employees. It's not there to help you (even though it does help, no doubt), it's there to shield the company from liability.

“Let me guess. You are in ATS, over 50 years of age, caucasian…”

Bingo! Middle aged White men are their #1 t@rgets. All in the name of (mendacious) egalitarianism.

Let me guess. You are in ATS, over 50 years of age, caucasian and offered a false choice by AT&T to “follow the job” to your new location. (Atlanta, where the DEI pool is deep). Once settled in you received a notice that your job was terminated.

Save both letters.
Ask for an audit of replacement job requisitions in Workday posted for your location.
(If you decide to seek legal council they can track down the age and ethnicity of your eventual backfill with HR and workday audits).

Let them know that you want them to look into the possibility of discrimination using obfuscation and misdirection based on what has transpired.

Top performer translates to 2.234 pct raises until you hit the midpoint.

We have a club that only lets top performers in. So far, our membership base mirrors 80% of Att’s employment base.

Congrats on your new freedoms. One year was time well wasted.

"Top performer" seems to be the main criteria (here's a hint: you weren't).

But it's OK. You'll be better off for it. Good luck to you,
