CWA "fighting" for better benefits and getting paid, while we stand in the sun on a picket line and get nothing. Seems really fair doesn't it? Before anyone starts with this "you knew it was a contract year and should have saved" cr-p, some of us don't make 40 plus an hour. Under this regime that apparently Cummings supports, its really hard to save, they need to call the strike since now there is mediation happening. Sounds like it's being done out of spite now, because the empire can hold out longer than the federation can financially. This union has proven nothing to me at all, and is a complete joke.

CWA 9421 D9 had rigged the voting process by not counting ballets. Some ballets were thrown out and missed counted. The ballet counters were advised to destroy or miss handle ballots. D9 was and is corrupt with accepting bonuses payouts bribes to push a worthless TA for past contract years and for 2024. D9 CWA has been illegally following these practices. Articles have been published that are under investigation.

Stankey told CWA president to, hold my 🍺. His one year 3 million dollar raise is more than Cummings will probably make his entire career. Caveat, Cummings didn’t lose Billions of union members money but we know Randall and Stankey lost Billions of AT&T $$. Who brings more value to their team?

How about AT&T CEO Stankey who received a 3,000,000 raise last year because $23,000,000 wasn’t enough, 13.04% raise for one year. Great gig also, no accountability or consequences in that position. Lost billions in M&A while laying off thousands of employees, who cares give him a raise says the complicit BOD.

Regardless of your wage, you put back a strike fund. To not do so is foolish. I’m sure every penny you spent over the last 3 years was an absolutely necessary expenditure.

I feel your pain but I know an option. I know an employer that has an opening that the pay is outstanding. Non union. Great benefits. You will work your a-- off, be at beck and call, and basically become company property. You will relocate if the company desires your services are needed elsewhere. There is no job security and you will be a 1099 employee. Options are out there.

My friend asked why is the union on strike. Better pay? Medical? I said all that, but mostly I think they want respect. BellSouth has always been treated like cr-p even when bringing the best processes to the table. It was always “don’t matter if your way is better. We bought you so you do it our way”.

Heck, even BST email addresses were better. Using our employee id as an email address? That’s not even 80’s, that’s just stupid.

union encouraged customers to switch mobile services to Verizon or T-Mobile. Like they'll come right back when it's settled? Right...

Everyone enjoys all the benefits that unions have fought and struck for over the years including, management. Understand it’s hard for entry level positions but hang in there it won’t be long. The old timers had to work side jobs during strike before there was any strike fund so, this isn’t a first. Look up the long list of wins for all workers, bargained and non bargained alike. Start with researching the robber barons and go from there, eye opening. This is just a bump in the road compared to strikes of old.

If we're smart, we will go back before 8/30, even without a nailed-down TA, as long as progress is being made. More dominos fall against us if we don't. Just my 2-cents, but I'll back my brothers. Unity!
