Thread regarding CVS layoffs

30%Onshore 70%Offshore

Just wanted to clarify if teams outside of Enterprise have had the same communication that company wants team structures to be 30% onshore employees and 70% offshore.

Also heard they’ll be stopping all contracts with one of the consulting companies. Not sure which ones will be impacted. All of onshore contractors should be prepared for December.

Working with offshore is a nightmare. 2 to three days to get tasks done, find out about errors, another 2 to 3 days to fix those...no communication at all due to time differences. Calls at 9am...then employees stateside spend their work days with their hands tied in limbo...

And yes they all crept into senior roles...usually due to doing the job of the director they reported to in order to keep the consulting gig....and as a result departments sc--wed their own team members who had seniority.

They will be hiring more from TCS, Cognizance and Infosys because the ex contractors have creeped into c suite roles. Offshore heavy model is incoming

One good thing about Medicaid is there's not suppose to be offshore touching our data. And for territory islands like Puerto Rico only a couple of Medicaid states allow them. But that's just stupidity hiring temps from Infosys to can only work in a couple of Medicaid states. Oh wait the mo--ns in Medicaid leadership hired them anyways.
