Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Swoosh & company store privileges after layoff

Those with 5+ years, that gets to retain lifetime discounts, could someone please confirm how discounts work, in post Nike life?

  1. From what I see, Swoosh.com is tied to Nike email ID and doesn’t seem to accept personal ID (still employed). Does it mean, after I leave Nike, I will lose access to Swoosh.com?
  2. Do siblings and other family members like in-laws that went thru approval, continue to work?
  3. company store visits and discounts?
  4. NFS/ outlet - I have received 30% off stacked on top of sale price. Had to provide employee number. Not sure how this will work.

I left the Swoosh after ~15 years and still love the brand. I rarely go into the store. I have not worn another brand in 20 years :)

I still use the employee entrance/checkout at the company store. They ask for your employee number and an ID. Nothing changed for my family.

You get really clear instructions when off boarding. Family retains benefits. Family list locks on last day so make sure it is up to date. Your employee number will always be your id. Employee store staff is helpful with questions when needed. You are in charge of what email is associated to your account and can/should change it to personal email.

I know the below details:

  1. You can update the email for swoosh fit yourself or family members in passplay
  2. Yes they will retain their discount
  3. Not sure how that works but assuming you can still share the employee number since you are a swoosh lifetime member now
