“If T didn’t have $130B debt load, they might have done layoffs the right way. Offered people over 50 a package. This was mentioned a few postings ago. Unfortunately, T buried itself in bad decisions and huge debt. So much for doing the right thing!”
We all must suffer for the sins of Stankey.
He’s like the opposite of Jesus.

“But for those of us that did not agree to move to the new work location and are literally being severed, any idea when that will be completed?”
I’m hearing near Christmas 2024 - end of year for those who declined wave 3 or are still sticking around after wave 2.
That was too soon, I asked around and got that info, which is why I lied about moving and got myself til June 30th.
Good luck, hope it works out for you.

“Does “all this surplus’s activities… “ mean all Waves will be off payroll by year end? Asking for a friend 😆”
No, because over half the people who said they’d move aren’t actually moving.
Does “all this surplus’s activities… “ mean all Waves will be off payroll by year end? Asking for a friend 😆
Dead weight.
If you are suggesting that 20-25% of the employee base that has been laid off of late is dead weight, exactly what does that say about the Management that hired them or whom they worked for? Do you actually hear what you are saying? Think it over for a bit. Ya have to love the dim witted individuals who post on here.
T could have saved so much money, dysfunction and boosted morale (which is priceless) by offering anyone over 50, MR75 eligible, a package, perhaps a years salary to leave. Employees would have left, trained their replacements more than adequately and everyone would have been happy and not resentful. The vast majority of employees want to come to work and add value and in return they want their employer to value them. When a person does not feel valued as studies have shown their productivity unfortunately decreases and bad morale spreads like a virus.
Does anyone know if these off payroll dates include the wave three folks?
"They sure get managers off the books quick."
It's been over 18 months since RTO was first announced. This hasn't been very quick.

" My org has so many people volunteering to leave with a package,..."
There are no packages.

$100 to the first person who walks up to Stanky, scratches his head while saying "my ba--s itch"
My org has so many people volunteering to leave with a package, you literally have to wait your turn to retire.
5 just left and there’s plenty more that want out. All you have to do is let them go.
Given that it's October, that would, um... make sense? It'll resume in 2025, and the year after that, and the year after that, and....
I am so ready at this point. Paying the house off this month. Will only need a simple $25/hr job to pay the bills after that. Will miss the money bit not thr 7x24 stress.
I think many have PTSD if you have worked here for 4+ years
who cares. i have a couple million reasons not to care anymore.
The biggest cut should be the CEO. Time to move onto the next station in his life. This isn’t it.
I can't wait for my severance!
“ Welcome to Walmart!“
Better pay and benefits.
Until T will depend on ancient tools like GPS, with expensive maintenance, it won't be better
The side effects can be a little rough, but T has desperately needed to go on Ozempic for a long time.
The reductions will never be over. Reductions have been going on for 25+ years.
Besides T people, Tech M, contractors & Accenture are being cut.
Good. I wish they'd do just one big cut and finish it already.
Good. I wish they’d just do one big swipe and finish it already.
Dead weight.
