For some stupid reason, I'm a glutton for punishment and I want to try to stay with the company for now. I've heard several answers on this and I'm really just looking for the right one. My off pay roll date is October 25 and the earliest I can sign the severance agreement is October 11.
- Does interviewing for / applying for opportunities remove the eligibility for the severance?
- If I sign the severance agreement on October 11 but am a candidate for a position, does that remove my candidacy?
