I witnessed the transformation from a solid company with a sound business model, where people could actually make a career, somewhat progress in their skills, and have a sense of accomplishment, to what we have today: a company with no identity and no real strategy or development, that nobody really cares about. I can’t remember when was the last time any of my colleagues expressed concern, loyalty or any kind of attachment to T, or wanted to build professional life around it. It’s a dying business with very unlikable people at the top, who care about T even less than we do. It’s a shame.

Be honest, you weren't hired on with AT&T. You were in a Baby Bell, and that is where that feeling originated. It started disintegrating when we came back under the T umbrella.

Think back, this slow slide to the bottom, the parade of horrible business and personnel decisions. The time frame of the beginning of Inclusiveness was when I first raised an eyebrow, questioning whether Leadership had suddenly lost sight of what it takes to make a business successful. We did learn what it takes to secure a ranking of Third Place in this Industry, didn't we?
I know. It has been years since you were proud to say you worked for AT&T when someone asked where you worked.
