Thread regarding Kyndryl layoffs

US Reorg

With no large signings in last 3 years, US has been scrambling woth re-orgs, which wont make a difference. Yesterday’s all hands call was a disaster. Amy knows that she may not last long. All non-incentive DPE’s to be under Mary Miller: what will happen to them is anybody’s guess. Kyndryl is fu---d.

You guys are not alone - most consulting firms in the same scenario - Some of our former leadership actually just joined your Company in Senior Roles (Ismail) - Hope next year things start turning around. The UK is actually bouncing back strongly and spending aggressively on consulting services - maybe that will be the same scenario for the states since they have been a lagger with how they define recession and the labor market unemployment numbers should be going up -

I am currently in procurement. I think a lot of us are toast. I have been hearing whispers that a large chunk of procurement will be outsourced. I hope not but I dare not dismiss the rumors all together. I am getting tired of living on the kn--e's edge in this company. Job security, what a joke.

This outcome was all too predictable. If they are not getting new customers, then it is only a matter of time before current customers start to drop off. You all know what that means.
