Thread regarding CVS layoffs

WTF is CVS thinking?!

Here’s an updated version of your comment, including the mention of the previous outsourcing attempt:

It’s disheartening to see that CVS didn’t just lay people off—they outsourced jobs. Historically, outsourcing has often been shown to cost more in the long term rather than saving money, despite the initial appeal. We’ve even seen this firsthand when we tried outsourcing to Perot Systems many years ago, and it was an epic fail. What makes this decision even harder is that the people let go were some of the most loyal and hardworking individuals I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. To see such dedication met with this outcome is truly heartbreaking. I can’t help but wonder, what the fu-k is CVS thinking? I’m feeling deeply discouraged by the direction things have taken.

Outsourced to the MAX until Regulators can catch on, unless 45 comes back in and it will be totally outsourced. Expect the Same we are an International Organization so we will use all our necessary tools to pay the absolute lowest to employees. It's way to go everyone else is doing it.

CVS doesn’t think. If it doesn’t give them more money to scam off the top and into their own pockets they don’t care.

Cognizant.....Infosys......they all blow. The quality of work is horrible. They keep outsourcing then wonder why everything in production fails.

Entitled people think they deserve a job because they live in the United States.

All true. Outsourcing never gets us anywhere. Then again, the leadership changes and the revolving door aren’t helping. You just finish implementation of one thing, a new leader comes in and wants another. We are mastering nothing. We can barely get through implementation. 🤡
