Here is another person putting their a-s before their brains on that limb. Another stupid Trumper, sprouting lies and ignorance. Focus at the conversation at hand. Stop speaking of which you know nothing.

Anyone seriously expected Kyndryl to keep the entire legacy workforce of 90K employees while losing money? LOL

Fake news buddy pay attention to what matters. Get off this site, this is for discussing what concerns the real workers at Kyndryl. You are just trying to cause a stir your either an unemployed id--t or a bot. This is just a distraction technique to stop the discussion of Kyndryl falling apart. Who gives an S what any current politician espoused.

This is a company circling the drain. I would be willing to bet our top illustrious leaders are formulating an exit plan for themselves. Kyndryl is not making money. Money they do make goes toward the debt they can't possible payoff. I know their cash on hand is a joke for a company this size. Just a matter of time, the workforce reductions have been happening quietly. Those measures are done, the next step is the publicly announced layoffs. They do not have a choice, It is the only way to stem the immediate hemorrhaging of money. Plus it is good for Kyndryl's image. It will actually look like they are being pro-active in cost cutting. Wall Street loves a good F the worker Scenario.

So glad I left this cr-p voluntarily 2 years ago after 34 years working for IBM/Kyndry. Took a job working for account I supported. Never been happier! Not perfect here either but I’m an old dawg just riding it out to retirement. Best of luck to anyone affected! Just make lemonade out of those lemons. There is hope!!!

There were layoffs yesterday, my manager said that he lost approximately 1/2 of the US workforce. The layoffs targeted US employees in Band 7.

Amy Salcido spoke for about 20 minutes. Should have had a betting game based on number of buzz words spoken. Laser focused, synergy, deliver value, forge relationships, maniacal. Was somewhat surprised how much SELL SELL SELL was pushed and even about searching out small sales when another company gets the major contract; there still has to be some work that can be performed for that company. Talked about changes made yesterday, which I was unaware of because I was too busy supporting my clients. So, no discussions about people going to the bench or reduction in force or anything like that.

Well these kinds of meetings, scheduled on short notice, are rarely about announcing good news. :-/

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it's related to the 8 bullet points in the US president's email detailing restructure.
