Thread regarding CVS layoffs

It Ain’t Over

Don’t be fooled. This is far from over. There will be 4,000 more layoffs in March, 2025 and 5,000 more in October, 2025.

You can’t save for a 6 to 12 month emergency fund when CVS pays poverty wages.

So there’s hope if we don’t make it this round!

In mgt and have heard nothing of that many additional layoffs. Do not instill fear unless you want to name a source

I personally know a Sr. Director that got laid off. He said it was in the realm of 10k next year, he said he saw the plan. This totally tracks people, the CEO told Wall Street that we would find/create $2 billion in savings over the next several years. Even if it's not true, you should be ready anyway. You're never safe.

If you’re going to post, say your source. They could have savings from attrition, more off shoring, the reorg happening etc. I highly doubt this is true.

if you update your resume often, and have 6 - 12 months in your emergency fund then whatever comes your way comes

you should be doing both anyway its 2024 not 1952

Just shut up already. You trolls seem to enjoy trying to put fear in everyone’s heads. Let it go, you know nothing.

Anyone reading this, unfortunately you cannot believe most stuff posted on here.
