Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Do we even know for how long this will last?

We know the numbers, but we have no clue who on which day and where can actually be affected. Do we know at least if the dept or team was already through the wringer that they can be sure it’s over? High target number just cause so much anxiety and fear among all of us. Uncertainty more so. When the day is over and you somehow survived, you still can’t breathe easily.

The official word was that most would be notified this week. If you make it through this week, 90% chance you're good for this round. Any other questions about whether it's "done" for your team need to be asked of your direct manager. That doesn't mean there won't be additional rounds in the future, there may be a few more in November and there's already been rumors there will be more some time next year.
