Is AppD finished? $3.7B gone / spoof?
Where is the accountability? Where is Chuck / Ronak / Liz?

Ronak is already gone. Where have you been?
Centoni is incredibly useless. She burnt billions in wasted acquisitions. Yet there she is "leading" CX. Robbins can't tell a good EVP from a bad account manager.
$3.2 Billion from AppD went partly into some ELT pocket.
AppD has no ROI since acquired and all employees burnt the Cisco money and went
Now, 8,9,10,11 will be sold and laundered into RSU and shared within ELT
Chuck has not been an effective CEO since replacing John. Chuck at best is a good Account Manager.
Cisco is an aquisitions company. We aquire companies, gut them, trash the pieces, fire the employees, and do it again.
We're the garbage collectors of the tech world.
If you gut a company, remove all the employee overhead, and su-k it dry - you can do that a few dozen times before other companies begin to notice. Problem is, most of our customers know this behavoir at this point, and don't want to buy our junk.
AppD always had an "us vs. them" mentality & there was a mass exodus when they were acquired by Cisco. Based on a post seen here during the LRs from a 'Splunker' who wrote "believe me, we don't want to be here", and frequent posts on LinkedIn from Splunk continuing to refer to their employees as Splunkers, or their interns as Splunkterns, I'm still seeing the 'us vs. them' mentality & I don't think that's going to go away, ever.
AppD, Meraki, Splunk, Webex...most all of Cisco's acquisitions never integrate. Cisco is a balkanized collection of independent companies trying to operate as one. Tools, processes, cultures don't mesh and customers suffer. Meraki culture is especially standoffish at best and insufferable at worst.
It's a microcosm of the multicultural populations that plagues numerous countries today.
Splunk acquisition thus far feels like AppD. AppD has never thought of themselves as part of Cisco. Very tribal in how they approached integrations and that’s part of the reason why other monitoring offerings (Datadog and New Relic) have crushed them.
Hoping Splunkers start becoming Cisconians. Otherwise history might repeat itself.
when I started 3 years ago - AppD was a buzz word basically everywhere, meetings, professional convos and etc. 1000eyes also was everywhere - hiring engineers like crazy and etc. after 2 years - both are nowhere and LR and etc. but I definitely see a new buzz word here - "splunk", eh "history repeats itself"
ApoD was never a thing. Tiny revenue that is on the margins when compared with core switching and routing revenue.
I think Liz got a got promotion and escaped to EVP CX with now Thousands of people reporting to her...
same strategy cronies now with Mark Patterson. This company will never change or learn
