Any contractors impacted as part of these layoffs? Weird how they let go their employees but pay the contractors who were hired through their VP's shady side business?

I hope the contractors are not planning long stays. Orange man will be back shortly. Everyone affected by layoffs and replacement are voting orange. Even democrats who normally wouldn't are holding their nose and voting orange thanks to moves like this.

Many were already let go earlier in the year.
I personally know at least 8/10 contractors that were being onboarded this Monday. Obviously, friends and family (wife, sister in-law, cousins so on and so forth) of VP's/Directors. You know what I am talking about, and nobody can deny this fact. I am not jealous, I am sorry for who employees who lost their jobs because management thinks that these contractors can support the work, but little they know that majority of these contractors have no prior experience in what they were hired for.

The company doesnt save money when they have to clean up the poor quality of work that contractors give us

Although contractors don’t get laid off per se, because of budget cuts we can’t fund a contractor we wanted to keep next year. They’ll be released come the end of the year.
