It is interesting that every time they introduce Frank Bisignano - they have to say “our President, CEO and Chairman of the Board Frank…”. Wonder if it is part of his contract. My first thought is - is this guy that insecure that he needs to be reminded of his own importance?
The only moniker missing from the intro was “our Dear Leader”
The convention space at The Venetian is monstrous. Did Fiserv rent the whole thing?
Agree 100 percent @7hmv+1uMoJkpp if the annual users meeting has substance, it can be all that. However, since the KKR/FD takeover it is just a sales pitch, photo op for Fiserv c-suite and cheer leading event. Love to hear some client feedback here.
If I'm being honest, as a client facing person who doesn't work in an office, it's good to meet with clients in person. None of the conversations are combative because you're buying them food and drinks and it's nice to see people you work with that you don't normally see.
While I don't necessarily like making the trip for personal reasons, from a business standpoint, I think the clients overall enjoy it. It's good to get together in person with people and while I would prefer that money go towards my salary, I don't think it's necessarily a complete waste of money.
I heard attendance was down?
It actually used to be a great event. In my opinion , the best ones were when Magic Johnson and Condoleezza Rice were the keynote speakers. It went downhill in 2019.
I see Fiserv is still spending lavishly on this worthless event, spending what should go toward employee retention, raises, bonuses. Is Magic Jordan (misspelling intentional) speaking again this year?
Can't blame Frank on this one. It goes back to the Jeff Yabuki days.
I had an incredible time and good meetings with clients and associates. We have so many incredible people here, it’s easy to forget that when we are frustrated with policies and politics. My time there was really well spent.
What's the point of these events? FB keeps bellyaching about expenses yet we're wasting a ton of cash on this needless event. There's no benefit to it.
Extremely busy, lots of activity coming and going. There were many one off client meetings with executives. I would not say it was low energy, there was a ton going on. Agree with some of the rumblings on Frank, but that’s not exactly new.
Guessing FB used the opportunity to go the Mets-Brewers game.
Very low energy event this year. Does not seem to be too much excitement from clients.
Fiserv's non-disparage agreement prevents me from answering.
Yes please tell us about all Fiserv's happy users!
