Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Charle Scharf: negatively impacting good people’s lives every day.

Charlie is a what is called a Corporate Psychopath. He feels no empathy or remorse for destroying people’s lives to benefit his own, whether it be his employees or his customers. He is able to justify everything he does because in his book -
we are all somehow subhuman, of no more significance than the Kleenex he tosses in the trash every day. Charlie is no different than a Bernie Madoff or a Ken Lay: cold hearted, inhumane, power hungry. (Someone should take note that both men took their companies down. ) For some reason, he thinks he’s better and deserves more than you and I. He isn’t and he doesn’t.

I don’t get it, and I’m glad I don’t.

Has Shart been tasked with reducing expenses? Sure, but instead of taking advantage of ANY low hanging fruit he'd rather randomly fire massive numbers of people that are largely replaced with uncaring contractors or outsourced people. He's also a habitual liar with no vision whatsoever. The idea that we can't cut costs in other ways is the drivel of incapable people mired in the past.

The sooner you realize nobody is thinking about you including your boss the better you will be.

Not sure why anyone would justify the actions of a CEO who is blatantly and deliberately working against them. What do we call those people? Henchmen and Yes-men.

“It’s the job he’s been tasked with.” “It started before Scharf.” So? If you get paid to sc--w over employees and customers (and the more people you cheat, the more money you’ll make…), that makes it okay?

Describing him and his good for nothing cronies perfectly. I’ve never experienced so many narcissistic psychopaths in a leadership team including the scoundrels in WIM.

This was started before Scharf. In 2017/18 there was the E&E initiative. The goal then was 25%. We’re not there yet, and it’s still to be delivered.
