Just decline the meeting invite and suggest a new time 30 minutes later in the day, but set the year to 2025… maybe they won’t notice, and accept the invite. Congrats, you are off the hook! This is how Office Space Milton survived all that time. The “payroll glitch” was that they actually forgot to lay him off…LOL

If you are on the chopping block, PTO is not going to save you. Sorry, but they will wait until you are back...hopefully not

If you are chosen for termination, you will likely receive a meeting invite 30 or so minutes in advance. Subject will be Important Business Update. It will say this is an important meeting and to attend even if you have conflicting meetings.
