The fact that we keep having to wait for product in the pipeline makes no sense. There should be great product coming out every season. Sounds like designers and product leaders took a couple years off and now we’re waiting 142 weeks. WTF, get it together.

I’ve seen plenty of amazing things never make it to market because we seem to be catering to low price , high volume versus legitimizing in fashion or sport
Your blame is misplaced OP! I guarantee you the issue is not with product design or development as the amount of product worked on is more than I have seen in all 10 years I have been here, but so are the number of styles that are dropped. So maybe we should stop pointing fingers and work together to figure out what the real issues are.
I’m on PTO and in a vacation area and have been shopping like crazy. I haven’t seen one swoosh in any store in 3 areas I’ve been. Not one. That’s a problem. First time in many years I’ve shopped major areas for shoes and have never seen a Swoosh. That’s the real issue.
And they all made it through the layoffs! No reason to admit failure and make the necessary changes. Of course, we could say that in almost every area with the leaders keeping their jobs or being promoted, which we lost great teammates and future leaders. Oh yeah, and we now have to pick up the work they were doing.
