Another company they will buy and drag it down as they have all of the rest of companies/ventures they have bought! Can anyone name anything they have bought and made a go at it? We can’t sell what we have do to “ reputation” of AT&T/Directv and DTV Stream! Watch and see..

TV from satellites at DTV/Dish

Phone/possible internet from ASTS (still in its infancy[stock is $25 right now])

I assume this is what the plan is for the people in the boonies.

Main article: Boost Mobile (United States)

Logo used by DISH Wireless LLC. prior to its discontinuance as a distinct brand.
In 2019, DISH entered an agreement as part of the Sprint/T-Mobile merger in which DISH would acquire Sprint's prepaid wireless businesses, including Boost Mobile.[29] As part of this agreement, DISH became the 4th-largest major wireless carrier in the United States.[30] After the merger was approved by the Justice Department, DISH announced plans to "deploy a facilities-based 5G broadband network capable of serving 70% of the U.S. population by June 2023."[30]
On July 1, 2020, DISH officially purchased Boost Mobile from T-Mobile for $1.4 billion.[31] With this purchase it officially launched its wireless business, DISH Wireless, LLC, offering prepaid service through the Boost brand as an MVNO on the T-Mobile network.[32] DISH stated intentions to offer branded postpaid service in the future with the build-out of their own network.[32] DISH also intends to have the first standalone, 5G-only network in the United States.[32]
DISH purchased Ting Mobile from Tucows on August 1, 2020,[33] Republic Wireless on March 8, 2021,[34][35] and Gen Mobile on September 1, 2021.[36]
On July 19, 2021, DISH signed a $5 billion contract with AT&T and becoming a new AT&T MVNO within approximately two years. As a result, DISH Wireless customers gained the ability to roam on AT&T's 4G and 5G while DISH continued to construct its 5G-only network. The previous roaming agreement with T-Mobile remained unchanged.[37]
On May 4, 2022, Dish announced it had released its 5G network live to consumers in Las Vegas in addition to listing 113 cities for the next phase of roll out by the end of June. The service is named "Project Genesis".[38]
In June 2022, Dish announced it had met the FCC mandate to provide coverage to 20% of the U.S. population.[39] In June 2023, the company announced that it had met the requirement to provide coverage to 70% of the U.S. population by June 14, 2023.[40]

True but wonder how much of this is a wireless play as far as being able to come up with a bundle to get customers. Seems risky but have friends and relatives who use Dish in rural areas that will never get fiber or fixed wireless. Kind of like the deal in which they partnered with a fiber company to sell wireless. Looks like the same type of deal without the fiber. DTV would get a increase in customers, make their product more sticky and cut out a lot duplication of resources IE people.
