My director proposed discussing my career planning in our upcoming meeting. Soon after, I noticed she had deducted 100 hours from my PTO Bank. She then took a week-long vacation and is expected back in the office next week. I suspect she might be planning to lay me off in our next meeting.

I would say something is up. My systems all got glitchy the week I was laid off last year. PTO is paid out in a lump sum and that may be what is getting ready to happen, with payday coming up. Don’t mean to cause undo stress, but hope for the best and plan for the worst.

I am unsure why I lost 100 PTO hours when I only took 24 hours of Floating Holidays. As of 09/15/2024, my PTO Bank should be full. The PTO Portal indicates 100 hours paid YTD. This situation is perplexing.
This post is BS. No one can just deduct 100 hours PTO. It’s can easily be tracked and proven to be done maliciously.
