Thread regarding CVS layoffs

CVS needs to clean house starting with Karen

Unpopular opinion but this company is crazy bloated with the biggest bloat being Karen, second biggest- the cheap, incompetent IT contractors and their worthless ex contractor IT managers. Third, rest of the incompetent coasters all over the company, top to bottom.

I understand it’s our livelihood. But unless this cr-p is cleaned up- there’s no hope for this dumpster fire.

If you haven’t done so yet, there are still a few hours left to complete your Colleague Voices Engagement Survey and share your concerns about leadership and culture.

lol…unpopular? The only thing unpopular is Karen. Most of the tenured SVP+ ranks have zero use for her but are hoping to outlast her or at least make a lot of money as she takes the place down.

Someone needs to get rid of the incompetent contractors. These guys overestimate work and you can barely communicate with them. Pathetic environment in IT because of TCS, Infosys and the likes

The culture of avoiding accountability, pitting people against each other, and inhibiting transparency is 100% top down. It doesn’t change without a turnover of most of the ELT. My POV is that there’s no way out of this until we bring someone in to break the companies up, admit defeat (because KL never will), and rebuild.

Not unpopular at all! Karen is the architect behind this mess and needs to go yesterday.

The board needs to resign. Not a single person should be laid off without her resignation. She laid of 5000 people last summer. They should not let her do again. Get rid of her now!

Not unpopular opinion at all. The ENTIRE cvs executive team needs to be completely turned over, as well as the board of directors too. What CVS needs are people who understand both retail and healthcare. People who have worked in a store and know what it's like. What CVS does NOT need is another Wall Street CEO.

Karen needing to go is probably the most popular opinion there is. I think the BOD are the only ones that still believe in her for some reason, starting to think she has blackmail on them.
