You do realize ER reported up through HR for decades and specifically up through MM from 2017 to 2023, right? Until it became “independent” reporting through legal. I like AM but she and MM go back to biblical days. MM makes the call, period.
MM makes the calls. Period. Seen it in action repeatedly.

I can confirm that the Speak-Up Portal is in Legal as is all of ER. They (ER & a 3rd party company) do the intake and triage of all incoming complaints. HR is involved whenever there is a VIP involved in the complaint or when it is triaged and determined to be an actual HR issue. Legal provides the legal perspective but HR makes the final call.

I’m in HR… that’s not true. Charade. It’s all a charade. MM has control over all of it. AM is great and has integrity, but MM is in control. Pretend to appreciate MM and you make more $. That simple.
I agree with the MM sentiment, but disagree with the statement she's we-ponized the speak up portal. All submissions to the speak up portal are handled by legal, not by HR.
I am on the SEALs team and work with her daily, she deserves every bit!

Well, I guess the ELT is rewarding MM for the amazing job she's done we-ponizing the speak up portal and encouraging everyone to be their true, authentic, victimized selves in the workplace.
