Why did they promote our RVP in Majors to VP when he interviewed at Cisco. Why not let him leave.

He used it as leverage after accepting the role by going back to our leadership to get a better offer with promotion. We thought we were going finally going to get rid of him.
Because he knows too much about the nepharious ways of Employee Relations. Knows way too much about the rotating door of talent via the strategy of "keep them hungry. Keep them young. Keep them fresh, and damn to the rest of them"
