Insurance coverage

I am being told by me Healthcare Dr. That my insurance is scheduled to expire on 9/30.

I thought our current cards were good until end of year.

Do we need to get new insurance cards? I know the same coverage will continue for 60 weeks, do i need new cards ? Before October. Guess I need to call HR.

Would have been nice if the FAQ said please ignore the letter you will get telling you to do X since the FAQ said nothing was needed.

Conflicting information is not helpful.

I called benefits and was told that the new cards will come from our providers. No medical, dental etc. costs for VSPers. In the meantime we continue to use our existing cards.

Yes Cobra starts 10/1/24... see the page with the cost it will say $0. nothing changes we can use our cards until the new ones come in a few weeks. Don't fret.
