Our senior manager 1 below Operating Council takes no responsibility for terrible engagement survey results in our area. They joke about it. They blame return to office and say it's out of their control. They do not realize there is a lot, lot, lot more to engagement than back to office. So many in the area dislike this manager and the people they hired. No direction. Bad culture. Cr-ppy and inappropriate comments to teammates. The results are bad survey scores, teammate turnover, quiet quitting, and likely harassment lawsuits.

Consumer lending teammate here. 4 day RTO is the # 1 reason for the low scores IMHO, but it's not the RTO per se that is the issue, but the way EL goes about it. 1. It's not across the board which breeds bitterness. 2. They spin it as a good a thing while most of EL work from home... aka - hypocrisy. 3. They try to give us free coffee for one day to celebrate? Um... no! 4. They send out badge swipe monitoring emails to treat us like children. No wonder teammates are looking elsewhere. I know I am
"Worst analogy ever."
Or maybe it is right on point!
Did anyone check with the AVPs?
: @1prq+1uHLg79T You must be to young to remember, those that drank the kool aid all died! Worst analogy ever.
Didn't you get your free coffee yesterday?
It’s one big gaslighting, drink the kool aid or get out quit with the bi--hing
Manager here. Our leadership under operating council for my division said that we aren’t influencing the minds of TM enough. They said bad results are because lower level managers and senior managers need to change the minds of Tm through sharing more platypus corner and sending purpose cards without points more. They laugh about the results and they say they’ll do nothing about them, but expect us to have meetings with our teams to talk through things. When we talk through it means nothing because I don’t have the ability to change anything and the people wrote straight facts in their surveys. I’ll likely put a date on the calendar and say a meeting has happened because the bank truly doesn’t care. They surely care about something but it’s vastly different than what everyone else cares about.
