Biggest Winners Under JD’s Tenure

Guys and gals (look at me being inclusive) it wasn’t all bad.. some people made out like bandits under JD’s tenure. Here are the top 5.

  1. Bain and Co… JD kept them afloat during one of the roughest patch for consulting
  2. MM: took time off from using all of the water in Oregon and by all of it, I mean all of it to put in her vision of a company culture that doesn’t match to ethos of the people who built this place.
  3. HON: Consolidated her power to drive a failed strategy
  4. EH: got the job he wanted and it’s a damn shame that it took JD ruining the company for it to happen.
  5. RTFKT Co-founders… fleeced Uncle Phil for a cool billion for some overhyped tech.

Can you give more details on what is datalogue?
Seems similar to the Celect acquisition story.

I want to see accountability served cold to the few remaining leaders involved in the Datalogue acquisition dumpster fire. Datalogue was even more smoke and mirrors than the NFT nonsense, and these petulantly arrogant acquihires did lasting damage to data quality and engineering well beyond whatever the data org is called this month.

Datalogue acquisition was the absolute worst

SB destroyed massive value not leading analytics and insights, and then was given a gracious exit. Not a JD hire, but a political partner in crime.

Let's not forget we got "wellness week" in exchange for no longer getting profit sharing (which was a bonus plan on top of PSP). My 401k was growing nearly twice as fast when the profit sharing program existed. We are not getting profit sharing back, but I hear "wellness week" is temporary.

MD for being hired for a job she is clearly not suited for

In fairness to MM, she did do something right in the past 4 years. Roll out rest and recovery. No other company is doing that, probably the best perk left at this company.

No one paid $1B for RTFKT. That’s about 5 orders of magnitude too many.

Don't forget the ELT and SLT members that were able to consolidate their power by selling stories and lies of what the company needed to JD and him buying into them because he had no clue.

Bain and Accenture both writing their own checks during his tenure. ACN 20x as much.
