folks thinking that they can get a 30-40% pay increase by voting no are dillusional.
It’s a no vote form me
WTH do the last two comments have to do with TA ratification?
And I don’t remember voting for any of the local union officers, that seemed to vote themselves in
Obviously you're not paying attention if you don't remember your local elections.
Usually takes about a month from the time the TA is announced until the votes are counted. The local presidents are read in the details then, one or two meetings are held for the members with Q&A. Gives everyone an opportunity to weigh the pros and cons before making a decision. After that a vote and then the results. A lot to unpack in this TA, imo mostly all pros and very few cons, a good compromise because one side never gets everything they want. Best wage increase in all the contracts since I started working and more importantly healthcare is very fair, no large increases in premiums or deductibles.
Neither district has determined a vote schedule (that's been shared) yet; information meetings are still being held. I'm guessing the ballots will go out mid-October, with a count date the last week of the month, or perhaps 11/1. Trick or treat.
Obviously you don’t understand that there has to be a vote before any possible ratification
There won’t be anything until October
All about medical
That will have to be paid back at a later date
