Cognizant - Bedrock is complete failure

Bedrock driven by cognizant is wasting enormous money of Nike and big time failure project!Instead of doing layoff to save costs, Bedrock needs to be ended asap!

What do you expect to happen when half of tech is now working from the cheapest callcenter Nike could find on Earth?

They can barely code and their working hours are the exact opposite of Nike’s business. You’re expecting meaningful value from that?

No. It’s never going to happen. A few years ago Nike decided to purchase savings at the expense of today’s general business viability.

Tech frequently creates stuff with no regard, no experience, and no requirements gathering what-so-ever. Hard to deliver something of value to the business with zero business knowledge. Why do you think we’re on the 3-4th major SAP upgrade and delivered no business functionality improvements? Usually each time functionality is taken away. Tech is not plugged in at all to the Business—- Biz needs to take that power back. Is a collaboration of course, is upgrades and infrastructure stuff ya’ have to keep up on, but the idea of never delivering any biz functionality improvements has to stop. In many of the OTC processes Nike is way-way-way behind the rest of the industry and is f’g embarrassing. Tech has its head so for up its own ar-e though - not going to change without some major disruptive forces acting upon it. Isn’t enough FTE’s and SME’s to make a diff and hold the sh-t pile together anymore - is going to have to crash and burn a little before major disruptive forces will come to fruition

Been here almost 20 years. No idea what Bedrock is.

Tech frequently seems to forget that 90%+ of this company…isn’t tech.

I too am amazed we opened up satellite offices in Southern California instead of in cheaper tech hubs that also are cultural cornerstones of our core sales demographics.

But really now we all know those offices were chosen specifically for a few executives that live nearby.

Shareholder here…move more to cheaper locations and outside of the berm.

Portland real estate needs to get lower to make it affordable to local people

More needs to be moved to Cognizant so Nike FTE can spend more time on layoff.com
