Participation in Collective Bargaining has decreased by 50% over the past 40 years. One would expect 90%+ of the US workforce would participate if it was beneficial rather than the paltry 10% we see today. The majority would never allow a middleman tell them they cannot work and bring home a paycheck.

Go to work, you will be famous! There are still 2 names in Xboxes in our area from the 1983 strike, one of them used to be in my crew and he paid dearly for it. No one would help or communicate with that Scab after the strike until, he finally quit a couple of years later. The managers didn’t know what to do with him either but they had to put up with him. He worked by himself because no one would work with him. The other guy moved out of state to Florida for the same reason but he couldn’t outrun being a Scab so, no one would work him in that State either, he also finally quit.

Do what you want but you’ve been warned! There are three paychecks in month of August so if you miss one, you can survive. Also, the unions will sue you for any time worked during a strike if, you are a member. If that hasn’t talked you out of going back to work then all I can say is, If you are you are going to be stupid then, you better be tough!

Don't worry, be happy. The CWA folks who are "working" to get a fair contract are drawing $400 per diem every day and eating dinner with JS.
