I know most of those let go did not get theirs enforced, although a know a few that did. I’m close to getting another job offer and I’m sure my VP, who did a power grab during the reorg, will probably push to enforce it just to be spiteful. Has anyone successfully fought the enforcement of their NCA and either had the enforcement reversed or even reduced? Trying to have a plan before he decides to enforce mine, probably for the full 12 months. Oh yeah, I’m in supply chain and not in tech, so I don’t sit in innovation or partner on new product development.

If your NCA was waived at the time you were laid off, then it cannot now be enforced. If it was enforced, you need to report your new employment opportunity as instructed. The company can decide to waive the remainder of your restriction period if you’re not joining a competitor.
NCAs are still legal. The FTC rule was blocked on Monday. It was supposed to go into effect on 9/4.
Call a lawyer, not sure they’re legal anymore. If they are, then you need to be transparent about it.
Also they have to pay you if they enforce them, so you just need to negotiate the receiving company waiting them out.
Enforcing or not was included in your paperwork. Check FAQ contact list they gave you, there is an email address specifically for this
