Someone brought biscuits this morning. For lunch, we are grilling wings, hamburgers, hotdogs with BBQ beans and other sides. Very good, compliments to the cooks! Ice cold refreshments, ahhh! In the afternoon, the CP managers return at about 2:30pm, it’s like a cartoon, can see them gawking, sniffing and licking their lips.
Feels like the old Southern Bell/Bellsouth days when we the company provided and managers or techs grilled out for various reasons, was like family. Days of old, look where the company is now. Just a paycheck and everyone is a number on a spreadsheet, told if we don’t like it, quit. They sure know how to empower, create collaborative culture and keep employees morale up.
