CEO's back in the day, would have meetings with their senior underlings. At those meetings there would be pushback and honest discussions over the CEO's ideas and the state of the company. The CEO liked that, because they had their fingers on the pulse of their company, and wanted to know what's working and what's wrong.
Today's modern CEO, (like Karen) surround themselves with ONLY kool-aid drinking corporate yes people. People who don't challenge things or offer any pushback, they just say "great idea boss" to everything they say. That's a good reason why things are so bad right now.
