Anyone who took the last VSP file for unemployment and did you get approved ? I’ve heard from a few follow employees they were granted unemployment with the VSP.

I took the VSP in 2019 and was NOT eligible for unemployment in California.
So glad I took the VSP. Not a Verizon fan. Word of advise: when you leave, switch to T-Mobile. Their network just as good and you will save on price.
I got unemployment in Illinois. 475 a week
I've read that in TX you would still qualify, but again, state to state. Other folks have posted above that they didn't qualify. I didn't pursue it quickly enough after my VSP. I got another job too soon.
I was rejected in NJ after the last VSP.
Will get prosecuted if you file in a state where you are prohibited from doing so. A number of dummies paid the price last time.
Unemployment is a state benefit. So it depends on the state laws. In Texas a voluntary separation is a quit. You may still be eligible but a severance package will disqualify you. You will not be able to receive benefits until after you have exhausted your severance and then you have to have wages in your base period.
I applied in Tx and got rejected.
Not sure about your state, but in mine, unemployment is peanuts. a few hundred dollars a week for committing to applying for jobs. Not worth it, move on, HARD PASS
Read the FAQ.
My state says “ who lost their jobs through no fault of their own.”
It looks like there is an exception to quitting for good/cause or reasons but they want proof you tried to fix it first.
@znl+1u6UVOnE Did you take a voluntary package?
Former tech in pa did get unemployment for 6 months, then had to pay it back.
It depends on the state. Not all states allow you to collect unemployment after volunteering to leave.
Yes and yes
