RTO during Strike?

Has anyone had a discussion with their leadership regarding telecommuting while the strike is happening?

You don’t have to drive the 10 hours. Adults can make better life choices and move on without whining.

“Crying and whining about a subject that’s not going to change in your favor?”

Are you referring to my occasional post on here that takes 20 seconds max, as opposed to the 10 hours a week I spend in my car to come work in the call center that we call an office? Let me know! Thanks!

Nobody’s here crying and whining about the RTO. Why are you so defensive and dramatic about it? People are simply asking and wondering if they can WORK remotely while the striking and picketing are happening especially for the locations that are unprotected. Some of us didn’t even receive any notification regarding the picketing activities and guidelines.

It’s become like East Germany and the Stasi, all about reporting and punishment. Watchers, watching the watchers, No trust! How did that go? Employees only hear about the 1 time they messed up not, the other 99 times, they did right. Bonuses are counting on it. Customer service and employee development is last but they pay a lot of lip service that, it and you matter.

Instead of investing the resources to invent new products, or providing intensive training to employees, or ANYTHING else that could IMPROVE employees morale, AT&T has been so busy and focused at creating a stoopid dashboard and training the supervisors on how to use the d@mn dashboard to monitor this at least three d-mb days in the office. Well even have a meeting to review if you’re on the naughty list instead of discussing project progress. So d-mb. You cannot make this up! Haha!

And NO the RTO discussion & strike has nothing to do with wanting things to be during COVID.” If anything, last I remember we thrived during COVID providing CONNECTIVITY to customers working remotely!!

Name a bigger waste of time than RTO.

Going online and complaining about things going back to the way they were before covid.

A lot of RTO managers are currently dispatched on their CP assignment and will return soon. Stay tuned, more are getting called in daily, now. Come by the picket line, we will offer some refreshments, stay safe!

Some managers from California were just flown in to help with the workload, membership has its privileges.

I did. I was told I can work from home if my location was being picketed.
