Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Layoffs coming in Sept to non Dallas locales.

Enjoy your labor day, cause looking at the companies in the tech/telecomm industry (Cisco, Verizon, Tmo, Msft) are starting their downsizing phase due to market conditions and looking to make 3rd qtt look less disappointing.

T is not going to escape, the consensus is not Dallas Hub will see the biggest impacts. The bean counters have spoken.

Management layoffs are on hold until the contracts are resolved for D3 & D9. Afterwards it's back on.

How does any of this political nonsense relate to layoffs? Oh right, it doesn’t. It’s just that nobody listens to your garbage in the real world, so you have to post it here. Get a life.

The political posters are some of the slowest people around. The reality is that A) the wireless market is saturated, B) AT&T has way too many employees relative to its competitors, and C) no matter who is elected in November, A and B will remain true.

“T is not going to escape, the consensus is not Dallas Hub will see the biggest impacts.”

One of the most poorly written sentences on this page, and that’s really something.

My uncle's brother's cousin said AT&T won't be affected as much as those other companies.
