I’ve been hearing here and there that we can expect layoffs in greater numbers next week. Anyone know anything about it? I am terrified of losing my job atm, notwithstanding how much I hate working here. I’m just hoping to last for another few months. I’ve been looking for another job for a while now without much success. It’s just that time in life when I can’t simply afford to be jobless for more than a few weeks.

Hope the layoffs are huge, there so many people that need to lose their jobs.
Layoffs are starting October 1st. Not next week.
What do you mean “By far the Aetna Health “colleagues” employees will be cut”? Are you just saying Aetna employees in general will be cut? Or is this a specific group?
The layoffs, over 5k, will start at the beginning of October, plans are already made. By far the Aetna Health “colleagues” employees will be cut. Would be best if anyone who wants to jump, start now. Karen Ly--h has got to get the boot. She’s useless. She should go back to Paris as she did two weeks ago. We can guarantee that at the end of September that she’ll take her husband, get on the company jet and take another luxury vacation, just as she did during last years mass layoffs.
job market is not that great. Linkedin, Indeed are all trash. I applied for 50 plus positions over the last 6 months and hardly got any responses. let alone a next round. I guess in this age of AI, we all need to tap into our network for the outreach.
