Different banks. I’ve seen it all. Banking has been going downhill fast over the recent years as a desirable industry to work in. I know of many cases where college educated people in different banks are paid less than non-college workers in non-finance jobs. And whatever you do, however good in your job you are, you will be kicked out or replaced at a whim. I’ve started looking for another job in industries as far remote from banking as possible. Thankfully, my skills are somewhat universal, i.e. needed in a lot of businesses. Don’t tie your career and ambition to banking, you are set up to fail.

Concur, 10 years in banking after a long career in another industry. I honestly don’t know how people work in this field for 20+ years, very toxic.
