yes the job market is terrible right now - a lot of companies doing layoffs, so a lot of talented people competing for jobs. i would have only taken VSP if planning to retire.
Good luck to you if you're entering the job market again. I was part of the may 30 rif. Have 82 applications, 45 rejections, 2 interviews, no offers. Rest of the applications are just sitting in limbo so they might as well he rejections.
