Management was ask to do Quarterly reviews now. I suspect that I will have to start laying off folks during the fiscal year.
I think we will have more in October/November.
The issue is that MDT does not have a clear direction to bring itself back to profitability and will continue the destructive pathway of ‘cutting to grow’ which is unattainable. It may improve bottom line in the short term but top line sales, innovation, growth and profits will decline in the medium term.
To answer the question of which Unit will be impacted the most/least……unfortunately the current leadership is totally clueless on what are the laggards and what are the growth drivers in the business. And will cut 5-7% indiscriminately
Does anyone know which groups may be impacted?
You know Medtronic is sinking when they are constantly doing lay offs.
Hi: I’m curious where you hear rumors like August or November or that it will be big? I’m not doubting anyone. Just a little envious because I’m always oblivious until it happens.
I'm on PTO 8/1 - 8/18 will they wait until I 'm back? or RIF me as MIA during my vacation ?
