For a moment, forget about layoffs. Think about your job as if they were not a factor. Are you satisfied with it? I think that's the key question for anyone who's still unsure about staying or leaving. That's what I asked myself before I decided to start looking for a new job. Once I figured that out, it became a lot clearer what I needed to do. Try it, it might help you make up your mind too.

@2jwd+1tz1TABI Exactly the same here. For the past seven years I haven t learned anything new
Nope. Will leave at first available opportunity. Earlier I used to be ambivalent about leaving Nike. After all where else can you get away with doing so little. Not anymore. I'm not learning anything new. Plus the toxicity destroys your soul.
I have posted this here but I quit Nike 3 months ago on my own terms. I was stressed every day and every minute of my day. One night I woke up around 2 am having hallucination hearing someone is in the house. I live a lone and that was very scary I was hearing someone is walking upstairs. Ran outside and started screaming until some one called cops... OK it was very embarrassing but my therapist told me it has been because of high anxiety and prolonged exposure to stress will alter brain chemistry permanently. So yeah I quit with no other job lined up and I have recently signed a new offer for a different company.
um, the economy is in the toilet
probably in the next year, there is going to be a serious flushing
