VSP program is to provide a lump sum cash payment to cover health care costs as per freepress release.

Does anybody know what is this cash payment going to be. Will they cover 2 months insurance for less than four years of service Any idea how much is this cash payment for healthcare costs.

SWX North America employees will not be offered VSP nor will be there headcount reductions, according to the virtual meeting today.

This company can’t afford anymore layoffs or buyouts due to failure in NA. Their plan of off-shoring high cost center has backfired at record proportions. Wake up!!!

Anyone heard that all packages with be the equivalent of 12 months of pay regardless of years of service?

May be no layoffs. But VSP packages are coming it seems. Announced in townhall. The question is whether they will send it to all departments with min years of service . Heard GM sent it to all to avoid law suits.

Townhall today said no layoffs coming in US... only in Europe. Said nothing posted on here or on Reddit is correct.

Where did that liar who claimed they are in HR go???

Cuts are coming in Q2 or Q3 at the latest. Q4 (October) is too late.

I think we could expect that letter in October. The question is - what range of the seniority will be chosen...

In 2023, packages were for June 30 and Dec 31. Expected same this year so doing now does not seem logical.
