Life after RCSA

What’s going to happen to all the employees that have been on the FST for RCSA?

@der+1txPNCtt, so true.

N8 Herman built a giant 3000+ person army of governance people who add an extremely low amount of value to anything. I know....I'm one of them for the past several years. Entire teams, including mine, have no reason to exist. As such, the work amounts to constant confusion as nobody has ever really understood why we exist or been told that our responsibilities really are. It feels like we just make up our job responsibilities and manufacture fake work to produce updates to leadership. It's all fake and we don't do anything to enhance risk and controls. Such a depressing place to be. Management should know why they hired us and why we're needed, but they have friggin idea.

N8’s replacement inherited a huge army and hasn’t changed anything. We got layers and layers of admin and they give themselves fancy names like EBCE, BCM, FLIV, ERIA, RME, CPT, FST, RCSA central QA, RCB support specialist, Issues Management central analytics group, LOB aligned issues management liaison, operational risk event management support partner, policy management office liaison, policy and framework development group, escalation management support, risk and control committee management and governance, compliance program implementation subject matter expert, policy violation tracking team, central analytics SWAT team, SHRP change request center of excellence … there are more but am too lazy to type. Each of them have a double in operational risk and compliance. They all must go.

What do you think? Some will be needed to maintain, but I bet a lot will be let go or reshuffled.
