Two more leaving

Thoughts on losing three MT members in a matter of weeks? I see lots of change coming, buckle up!

Don’t worry about those leaving. They will be very fine. I am sure they are each worth millions due to big paychecks, stocks and bonuses over previous years at Humana.

well, Sam's risk mindset has made IT a bureaucratic hellhole so I'm glad he's gone at least

Actually, judging from events from the last several years, change may be exactly what we need to get the train back on track.

With a new CEO, it's not surprising there is a shake up. Jim may want to bring in his own crew. Also, with any management change, they may be used to working with Bruce and may not like the new management and want to move on to greener pastures. Personality conflicts count for associates leaving positions. I don't think it is an omen, or a prophecy of what's too come. I think it's just choices made due to a new CEO. We spend most of our waking time working, who wants to be miserable?

The departures of these three high ranking officers is concerning especially as they’re spinning them as retirements! None of the three are close to 62, all being in their early to mid 50s…. I suspect these retirements were forced and we will see all three at Centene, Cigna, UHC or Blue within 18 months.

Just wait until AI sweeps across the organization. They’re going to be so many changes that we’ve never even dreamed of.

The upper echelon knows what is coming at the end of the year. Open enrollment will be a disaster. Humana has had too much negative publicity. They see the writing on the wall. They probably already have the next "project" named.

New CEO’s will always bring changes, and they don’t naturally have to be mandated by the new CEO either. After working with someone for so many years when that person (Bruce) leaves, it’s most likely your time to go as well as you’ll always feel like an outsider, especially at the high levels of leadership.
