LS is good human but terrible leader, didn’t make any hard decisions, hold his business partner DC accountable or his peers in architecture and platform accountable for missed delivery. He stayed in the position because of rotating leaders in his org. His group has been misusing all technology for long time…AWS datalake, Snowflake, Teradata, Cognos, Databricks, Tableau, Domo just name a few.

Ask any data architect and they tell you stories. Ask his support team and they’ll tell you stories as well

LS is a great human and leader, who kept the team together while EW was destroying ED&A with her group of close friends distinguished engineers.

AJ is a good hire. I’ve enjoyed his refreshing approach. Not sure who did what to OP as a child, but obviously never going to be happy in life.

JA has been good so far. Why don’t you like him OP.

Rest if the leaders in data are horrible…LS and all his leaders, JL and all his leaders, all the so called distinguished engineers. Org has renamed itself so many times after not delivering anything since GW brought multiple groups together and started Enterprise Data & Anaylitcs group back in 2017.

They spent so much on data platforms, AI, bought Datalogue..failures are too many to count.

Idk - anyone that gets hired into GT externally, everyone always hates. Anyone that gets promoted internally is a snake.

Literally the reason why I left that organization to move into the business. The political and toxicity of anyone or everyone in that org is a cancer. Don’t miss my time there, never recommend any of my coworkers to chase the position. Just a straight disaster. Stay away from GT far.
