Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

CS&S Town Hall

That town hall today was the biggest circlej--kNot once did they address any issues that plague the overburdened front line since TG5. These people are deluded, and it’s like watching the Titanic sink as the band plays on.

I do not see anyone telling people to be quiet.

In corporate you donot tell, you create condition where whom you do not want they hounded, backstabbed , bullied , stagnant and forced to leave.

If you have not experienced such thing either you are to young or living under mother hen, who may be protecting you, till she turn against you , you will feel safe till mother hen turn aganist you and she will one day.

Not sure why people stay with Schwab, if they are so unhappy? Educate me!

Because they may have family to feed, mortage to be paid, parent to look after.
Or UNCLE SAM (Banks) would have put them under debt, so they cannot revolt.

It is a great company. Not perfect, but no company is.

Schwab is Not bad company for sure, but bad decision , made people to pay price in decision they were not involved in.

If we like it or not this how market work.

Go back read comment and Post , very few post directly attack Schwab Corporation , most anger is directed towards team, Lobs.

Go and Read for answer

  1. Anthropology of Animal how they behave , to weak you will get answer on point (1)
  2. Read Office politics and Compnays Fall , and you will see why people are angry.

If you think it is so bad, you are probably not a good fit!

So many sleeping Zombies on here who just want to grind and keep their heads down. They tell us to be quite and that we are disgruntled… probably mostly Boomers who are completely out of touch with reality.

The job market has never been stronger!

However, that does not mean that competition is not hard. If you experience that it is hard to get a job, you need to take a hard look at your skill set.

I have seen so many people not taking any classes and courses for years. They think they are fine, as they have a job, and know what they are doing. Then things change, and they are sitting there with no job, and outdated skills.

If you are feeling miserable, that is a strong signal that you have major work to do.

This.

It's also a function of not letting bullies win, family obligations, hope and geography.

Two of my guys want to leave and know I would recommend them. But they are skilled enough that they'd have to move to get a similar position. This is one of the reasons for RTO. Keep folks locked in and so time constrained with work and commutes that they can't do much else.

A lot of employees would leave, but the job market is weak and good luck finding a job. Better to stay employed and miserable, working for a company that has lost its way with leaders who are out of touch with reality than be unemployed and looking at Indeed all day and hoping for an interview.

Change is always uncomfortable.

Some people are not able to adapt. Some just complain. But there are always people stepping up to the challenge, and show leadership!

Maybe the OP should leave, instead of feeling frustrated? Or, step up and lead?

Wining on an internet forum is pretty lame!
