Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Job offers have completely evaporated

I haven't been contacted by a recruiter in a while, after being swamped for months. The offers were never good enough but at least they were there. I'm worried about what this might mean for the future, especially if we're looking at even more layoffs sometime soon.

You have to remain positive and, most importantly, resourceful! Don’t rely solely on recruiters. Adapt your skill sets to different industries…learn something new…explore jobs outside of your area. If you’re stuck, that’s kind of your fault. Be brave…don’t be lame. And sure as sh-t, don’t let Truist kick you around. Fu-k them!

Hard times spreading just like the flu
Watch out homeboy, don't let it catch you
P-p-prices go up, don't let your pocket go down
When you got short money, you're stuck on the ground
Turn around, get ready, keep your eye on the prize
And be on point for the future shock
Hard times
Hard times
Hard times are coming to your town
So stay alert, don't let them get you down
