Yes there are they will all be filled by outside contractors as Temp work. Preferably overseas staff were is minimal pay. They are coming hard we're all trash to be thrown out. Hey it's business. The laws allow firing with cause for everyone, when they stack the deck against you making stuff so insane to even keep up like have you be the sole worker in a department they will do it and then turn around and say obviously they couldn't handle the job so they were fired. Like they care about any employees, the older ones are going first then the smart ones who catch on fast so don't be surprised if haven sent their investigatorsvin here trying to crack the codes to find out who you are. They got the big hitters in here to clean house fast. Might tell you that you have time to correct the issues, no you don't you can do everything perfectly and they are still going to get rid of you. Because they can!

There have been some in the Clinical Innovations side of Aetna in the CM and UM COE. Idk how many they were announced yesterday, with last days of July 19th.
If there's another miss next quarter, I expect more than just layoffs. Store closures will definitely (in my opinion) be on the table. And I'm talking beyond what's already been announced, as in NEW closings. When you have 9000 something stores, theres alot you can cut. Plus another miss puts more pressure on senior leadership to turn the ship around or get the ax. Which of course means more hours and staffing cuts at the stores. I even think another miss possibly puts Karen and Prem in danger. Although to be fair CVS will probably cut half the ship before they cut them.
Earnings call is 8/7. If there’s a miss in earnings (likely), count on the “leadership” to announce layoffs on the call to demonstrate that they are taking action. Savvy shareholders will recognize the knee-jerk reaction for what it is (poor management). All this to say if layoffs occur it’s likely to be known in the next three weeks. Last round was pre-announced end of July and they let folks twist in the wind for over two weeks, till 8/15 ish, then they announced who. I wasn’t affected last round but quit that week. Not a company I want to work for anymore. HAW my @ss.
