Concession for Retirees

What happened to free POTS line for retirees? When did Stink bo-b ki-l this one? (cheap S-B) noticed my Voip went to 30 a month after taxes and fees. I understand all the medical and life insurance changes after him and Randall sc--wed the pooch for 10 years but POTS line? What a DH.

You still get it. You have to call and get them to fix it almost every year. Likely with a credit to the account.

Asks about a POTS line benefit, mentions being charged for VOIP... Typical AT&T technical competence level.

"Is a written copy of the contract available for review?"

Just like that contract you create when you go to a restaurant and order food for payment after the meal is completed.

That joke of a Medicare Advantage plan is out there only because if it wasn't, there would be no question that shortly after these representations, the company would be reneging on those representations.

Exactly... they lured people away (plus the ones who had left years and years before) with a subsidy and then scr@wed them after the fact with this piece of cr-p of an advantage plan. There's a reason insurance companies like these plans, they take your medicare dollars and offer a provider list it with the worst network of the worst doctors. And then tell you "but look, we're also giving you dental and all these other things". Guess where the $ comes from to pay for those so called extra things? By giving you cr-p for all the things. You can often get an advantage plan without cost so they've come out even further ahead "if" AT&T even gives them any of the old subsidy $ which they probably don't.

"Is a written copy of the contract available for review?"
It's not a contract, but the company made certain representations that were deceptive, and deceptive practices can be sued on.

For example, back in 2020 or 2021, there was representations that if one didn't retire by such and such a date, there would be no post-retirement health coverage.

That joke of a Medicare Advantage plan is out there only because if it wasn't, there would be no question that shortly after these representations, the company would be reneging on those representations. Now, they can argue the point.

Be glad as a retiree that you still have company subsidized medical benefits. For those still employed, close to retirement, that benefit is long gone.
The company no longer pays for retiree medical benefits so why would they pay for POTS lines.

What Stank and Randy did was unethical to employees but unfortunately it wasn’t unlawful so that is why he continues to take.

Believe in karma/what goes around comes around. He will eventually develop a conscience and realize how many lives he has negatively impacted because of his greed.

All the retirement benefits that were worthwhile have been ki-led. Stankey broke a contract with all the retirees, and soon to be retirees by taking all the benefits away. Stankey is a sphincter surrounding a void.
