Associate Survey

The associate survey is out today. I wonder if everyone will refect their true feelings or just go with the status quo?

I will tell you, beyond a shadow of a doubt, leadership knows who wrote what. They whine and cry like children when they are reflected negatively on a survey. Your survey link is tied to YOU.

If this survey traceable I'd been fired by now

These surveys, unlike others with personalized links, is not traceable. They are tallied and recorded by a 3rd party vendor. Leaders can view team results in a few weeks. I can personally attest that we cannot see what associates marked. Knowing my team as well as I do, it's not hard to figure out who had scored negatively (I have one that disagrees on every question).

it's tracible for sure, the upper leadership can see who wrote what and if it's a concern or issue and they have a really good relationship with the direct managers they share the information with the direct managers. You're not supposed to be a target but it's best to be on your P's & Q's if you leave a bad review. I hate that it's like that but it is. I used to think it was private until I got promoted to a managers role. Like the poster said above, say what you feel but be tactful in how you say it just to be on the safe side and to protect your longevity.

I gave my true opinion this year. Sadly most questions I answered strongly DISAGREE. :(

Maybe that’s why? We’ve sugar coated for so long, because they were supposedly traceable, and now, this is the mess we are in.

Let em have it. Tell the truth, don’t hold back. We matter. Our feelings matter. Humana cannot get better if we don’t lay it out on the line. Last couple of years have been brutal so if you don’t speak now, leadership will keep running it in the ground.

For the first time in 15+ years I laid it all out. This company no longer cares about its minions, so why should I care about sugar coating my ratings to make them look good? I took to the comments to express frustration and disgust from upper leadership and the hardship they cause for my staff. They keep stripping away effective tools to perform our job and in turn replace them with the cheapest sh-t on the market, setting us up for failure on SLA's.
Then there was my comment regarding Humana's obvious disregard towards all of us with their BCBS/Optum selection. It's apparent we don't matter and are just a waste of money.
I urge everyone to express your disgust with issues encountered in your respective departments. Let's see if we can create change (wishful thinking, I know).

If it wasn't my immediate supervisor they got a strongly disagree. First time in 10 years actually leaving comments.

Say what you feel but be tactful. Things won’t change if you don’t say what’s really happening. They may not change even if you do—but at least you’ll know you tried.
